Captain Mike Yates

Captain Yates was assigned to UNIT to be the Brigadier's right hand man. He later betrayed UNIT by helping Sir Charles Grover launch his Operation Golden Age.
After he was exposed the Brigadier gave him the chance to take extended sick leave and resign from UNIT.
