Doctor Who is the longest running television science fiction programme, produced by BBC Television. Doctor Who In Detail 4 is the fourth regeneration of a guide to the adventures of the Doctor and his companions. The show started in 1963, and ran continuously for 27 years until 1989. There was then a TV movie in 1996, and the series was started again in 2005.

So far ten actors have taken the lead role as the Doctor in the Doctor Who series fighting many monsters including the Daleks, Cybermen, Sontarans, Raxacoricofallapatorians (Slitheen family) and even himself!
