Leela was a savage, part of the Sevateem, who refused to believe that Xoanon was a god. Her favourite weapon was the Janis thorn. Leela joined the crew of the TARDIS by sneaking in and causing the TARDIS to take off. Whilst on Gallifrey she fell in love with Commander Andred, and stayed behind with K-9 Mark I.
