The Marian Conspiracy

The Doctor is tracking a nexus point in time, and meets Dr. Evelyn Smythe, a history lecturer whose own history seems to be vanishing.

The Doctor must travel back in time to the Tudor times to stabilise the nexus and save Evelyn's life. But whilst he is there he meets the Queen of England; he must use all of his diplomatic skills to avoid ending up on the headman's block...
